A come back
I visited my blog after ages. Somehow time just flew by, so.Its 2017, by .It felt good to read my last blog...brought back lot of memories. It was the year I lost my father. Not having parents no matter how old you are is traumatic, makes you feel kind of lost, even though life goes on. It takes time to fill the void..or rather it never gets filled..,but then life goes on..
My little girl is in 12grade a creative&talented teenager..eagerly waiting to take on adult life.

The year which went by..
This year went by so fast...It was not a very good year...with many unexpected things happening..
There were lot of new experiences..of life..
First three months flew by...In April we went to visit my father..who was not keeping well.He was so weak and fraile..i prayed to almighty to release him from his suffering..some miracle would happen and he would be up and walking so I could bring him here.Enjoy peace and take delight in
shriyas activites just as he was there for siddhu...I said my last good bye and prayed that he would have peace soon...
End of april ..had my better half leaving for US...I was happy that he would be able to visit sid..
shriya and me too wished we could go too.. but then ofcourse we couldnt...so the rest of summer went by.....this summer was real HOT!! Did nothing much except watching Kid movies with my daughter and of the internet...June ...school started...My little girl was starting 5th grade...she
is a big girl now...having very strong views about her likes and dislikes and fiercely independent....
she was so excited to start senior school....and then this years highlight was the monsoon...IT was like back in the eighties when it used to rain and rain.......and everything was wet and green.
It was wonderful....though when it extended upto end of november..we were fed up..
july end brought some unexpected news...My brother had met with Major accident.....although not very close to him..it was upsetting...and went through lot of tension...Its a miracle that he..
has come out with minmum damage..and recovering.....gods given him a second chance...ai wish him all the best in his second innings...of life,,,

knowing and not knowing
11th march.2010
I was reading the paper and i found this interesting Arabian proverb..
He who knows not and knows not he knows not....he is a fool..shun him.
He who knows not and knows he knows not..he is simple....teach him
He who knows and knows not he knows...he is asleep....awaken him.
he who knows and knows that he knows ..he is wise...follow him.

spring
The smell of fresh sea breeze is so exhilirating ....Spring is in the air...nature is at its colourfull best.
Few days back I was so happy to see a sparrows nest on the hibiscus bush in our compound.
Sparrows were abundant once upon a time...... but now they are very bravely trying to survive
in the sea of bulidings and traffic...I remember when i was small these tiny chirpy birds were every where..they used to wake us up with their lively song...and the trees around our home used have so many nests hanging during spring..It was fun watching them collect dry grass . twigs. and
soft cotton..to make their nest warm and cosy....they were so hardworking and in the begining of nesting the tiny bits of grass and twigs would blow away with the wind..but they would start again, and again till it was perfect and safe...It had a lesson for us..never give up, keep trying till you are sucessfull. Coming back to the sparrows nest ....I wanted my litlle daughter to see and observe
and enjoy the experience...since the nest was on side of the wall facing the road...i was hoping that
by moving the branches of tree a bit the nest would be less exposed to the elements and to traffic....
but then before I could do anything the nest which was half done had somehow fallen of the branch...into the drain below.. I was very dissapointed and hoped the little sparrow found a much better tree somewhere to build its nest...and i hope their would be lots of sparrows chirping happily everywhere...
